Unfortunately, we are not able to remove the selfie requirement, and here's why:

As a regulated financial services firm, we are required to conduct thorough due diligence on all of our customers so as to help combat money laundering terrorist financing. We take the selfie that you provide us with and match that image against the image provided on your ID so as to better verify that it's truly you signing up for an account (not someone trying to impersonate you).
