How to Send Funds Using Peer to Peer (P2P).
Updated over a week ago

Once you are opted into P2P, you can now send money to other NALA users who have enabled the option on their application. What does the process look like?

Sending a P2P Transaction

Under the 'Send' option, you will be required to choose 'Send to a NALA User'. Here, you can either add a new recipient or send to a recipient you have already sent to.

To add a new recipient, follow these steps:

  • Log into the App.

  • Click on the "Send" button on the NALA homepage.

  • Select "Send to a NALA User".

  • You will then be required to add the recipient's 'Username'.

  • Once you've added the Username, a brief description of the owner of the Username will be displayed.

  • You will then be required to confirm whether or not you know the user.

Once this process is complete and your confirmation has been acknowledged, you will be required to key in the amount to send to the recipient. Click on 'Continue' on the App and the funds will be deducted from your wallet.

Please note that, in as much as the P2P payment has been initiated from your end, the recipient needs to accept the first payment from you. This is a one time process and you will not be required to redo this for the second transaction.

We hope you enjoy the convenience and security of our new P2P feature. If you have any questions or issues, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Mama NALA.
