Each cross-border payment that is made involves several different partners and financial regulatory bodies. Because of the different parties involved, it's rare but possible that a transfer is delayed. Below are a few of the reasons as to why there might be a delay:
An incorrect phone number or bank account number was entered. Double-check that you have the right details entered.
There's a technical issue with the beneficiary's bank or telco
The transfer was made before or after the bank's processing window.
There's a security or compliance check that needs to be done. This helps us keep you and your money safe and helps us comply with the government bodies who regulate us.
We’ll always tell you upfront when your money should arrive. And once your transfer’s on its way, we’ll send you updates via email and/or push notification.
