Setting up my Send Country and Phone Number.

country of residence and phone number

Updated over 11 months ago

After you have selected the email address you want to register your account with, you will be required to provide NALA with information on where you would ideally be sending money from an where you are hoping to send money to.

What does this entail?

  1. After the email clicking on Create a new account, you will be redirected to select your country of residence. Make sure to select the country within which you have a bank account from which you will be transacting. This is crucial because we need to ensure your account is set up in countries we are live in as Send Countries.

  2. Next, you will be required to select a country which you wish to send money to. This is where your intended recipient resides.

  3. Finally, you will be needed to provide us with an active phone number registered to you. Why? Whenever we send transactions to your intended recipient, we send you updates on the transfer status. Please note that we do not accept Landline numbers for messaging purposes.

  4. After keying in your phone number, a 6 digit code will be sent to you to help verify that the number you provided is active.

For a step by step view on what the above process looks like, please refer to the video content attached below.

Feel free to reach out to the Mama NALA team if you are stuck in any of the above stages. We're here to help. 😎
