The time it takes to deliver your funds depends on the type of transfer that you make. Below you'll find a summary of transfer times to mobile money wallets and to bank accounts.

Delivery time to mobile money accounts

  • 🇰🇪 Kenya = A few seconds ⚡️

  • 🇹🇿 Tanzania = A few seconds ⚡️

  • 🇺🇬 Uganda = A few seconds ⚡️

  • 🇬🇭 Ghana = A few seconds ⚡️

  • 🇷🇼 Rwanda = A few seconds ⚡️

  • 🇨🇲 Cameroon = A few seconds ⚡️

  • 🇸🇳 Senegal = A few seconds ⚡️

  • 🇨🇮 Cote d'Ivoire = A few seconds ⚡️

Delivery time to bank accounts

  • 🇳🇬 Nigeria = A few seconds ⚡️

  • 🇰🇪 Kenya = a few minutes ⚡️

  • 🇹🇿 Tanzania = 4-5 hours during the processing window

    • Tanzania processing window: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm EAT (all non-holiday weekdays)

      N.B. Transfers made on Friday (after the processing window), and on weekends will be delivered on Monday due to the Tanzania banking regulations.

  • 🇺🇬 Uganda = 4-5 hours during the processing window

    • Uganda processing window: 8:00 am to 2:00 pm EAT (all non-holiday weekdays)

      N.B. Transfers made on Friday (after the processing window), and on weekends will be delivered on Monday due to the Uganda banking regulations.

  • 🇬🇭 Ghana = 4-5 hours during the processing window

    • Ghana processing window: 8:00 am WAT (all non-holiday weekdays) i.e transfers are processed once per day, transfers initiated prior to 8:00 am WAT will go out within 3-4 hours.

  • 🇪🇬 Egypt = within 24 business hours if the transfer is done before the cutoff times.

    • Bank transfers to Egypt will be delivered within the 24 business hours, if the transaction is sent before 3pm EET.

    • In the event that the transaction is sent past 3pm, we expect that this transaction will be processed by the receiving bank the following day.

      • N.B.: Friday and Saturday are considered non-banking days in Egypt.

  • 🇷🇼 Rwanda = Currently Rwanda bank transfers are not yet supported.

Note: Any transaction that happens outside of the processing window will be queued until the start of the next processing window.
