Please note that verification documents vary depending on the type of verification required. Therefore, you will not always have to upload your state ID, passport, or the last four digits of your SSN.
Please see below the different documents required for various checks;
General identity verification:
This process requires you to upload two documents. First, you must send a photo selfie of yourself holding your ID document and a clear and readable photo of the ID document.
In the first step;
Upload one of the documents listed below;
The front and back of a current photo ID**, such as a:
State ID card
Passport (both pages)
In the second step;
Take a selfie while holding your identification document*. The selfie should include a clear photo of your face and the document of your choice. You should hold the document near your face so that the selfie captures your face and the identification document.
For this type of verification, you will need to upload the front and back of a current photo ID, such as a:
State ID card
